What We Do

We offer a variety of group fitness classes 6 days a week taught by certified instructors in a small group setting. Class formats include Spin (Indoor cycling) Booty Camp (Hiit training, step, weight training, gliding, and Barre) and Mat and Ball Pilates. We also offer personal training with a nationally

We are a welcoming and supportive fitness studio with instructors that will motivate and inspire you in a personalized group atmosphere to accomplish your goals, realize your full potential both mentally and physically, and most of all have fun while doing it!

I like spin classes for a couple of reasons. It’s a great workout that I can tailer to whatever level of effort I need that day. It’s also effective – I go twice a week and I see consistent improvement in my cardio fitness. But just as important is that I can do it without embarrassment. I’m pretty uncoordinated and any class that has dance-type moves or requires me to move my arms and legs at the same time can be challenging. I tried Zumba but I was very self-conscious and uncomfortable and I never got a very good workout. But in spin, all you have to do is sit down and pedal – it’s perfect!

My whole life I had an athletic body, until I had kids and became an “adult”. I gained 60 pounds and I was in a place where I knew I needed to lose weight, I was unhealthy, and not happy with my body. I met Dawn Van Dort in 2016, but it wasn’t until late 2017 that I had a conversation with her about my health concerns. She then told me her dreams of bringing more health and fitness into our town. We ended up getting together two times a week for an hour or two and she taught me everything I needed to know about how to properly work my body, when to push, when not to, proper form, she encouraged me and helped push me like no one has before. She constantly gave me healthy eating tips (seeing her in the store all the time is a great motivator too!)

Without Dawn I would still be 220-230 pounds. Working with Dawn, eating healthy, and no cheatingI was able to form a healthy body that has more energy and looks great! I am now 175 pounds, I lost a total of 45 pounds from November 2017 to June 2018. That’s only 8 months! I had been trying for 5 years to lose just 20 pounds and with Dawn I did that in the first month. Results speak for themselves, and once you have a session with Dawn you’ll know why.

At first it seemed impossible and tough to get going but once I jumped into these classes determination kicked in. It is a battle to see how far you can you until you realize the sky is the limit .
